Ok: So here we are at cache #2 in our Freshwater Southside series. Boardwalks (necessary) galore. And CtB! doesn't bushwhack. Yet - Arthur Fonzarelli: We have a situation here. We want to maximize our caching experience while hiking, so we wish to put a fun, meaningful cache around here. But we don't have a lookout. Or a rest stop. We've got boardwalks. And more boardwalks. Well...

JUMP THE SHARK!
I don't recall the episode fully, but I do recall 'back in the day' that Fonzie jumping the shark was a big deal. Not much was done in grade 4 math class the next day. Fonzie jumped the shark.
So: From the boardwalk, don't bushwhack, just 'jump the shark' to a spot which would be appropriate to hide / find a geocache. Nuthin' to it!
Also:
To make things a little interesting, there is a fouth puzzle cache, GC8AWWQ, to play off of our caches in the whole Deadman's Bay Path series of caches. The puzzle cache can be solved before hitting the trail, such that you may concentrate on hiking and finding while on the trail, and not having to solve a puzzle on the fly.
The cache is a 500mL camo'd screw-top container. (Shocka!)
