Keyesville massacre

The Keyesville massacre occurred on April 19, 1863, in Kern County, California, during the Owens Valley Indian War. White settlers and a detachment of the 2nd California Volunteer Cavalry under Captain Moses A. McLaughlin, killed 35 Tübatulabal and Owens Valley Paiute men, about ten miles from Keyesville on the right bank of Kern River.

 

The cache can be found at N35 42.ABC W118 26.DEF where:

A=The last digit of the year in which the massacre occurred,
B=The first digit of the day on whcih the massacre occurred,
C=The digit representing the month the massacre occurred,
D=The number of letters in the town mentioned above minus 1,
E="D" above minus 2,
F=Is a four letter number starting with "F" and is not 4
