We are about to leave (and cross the Atlantic)!
It started out in a Belgian Geocaching Facebook group, where the initial plans were made for this roadtrip; Azafady started to plan this adventure with many Belgians but in the end, only she and Dutch geocacher Millieballon remained. More roadtrip members were needed!
Millieballon knew VanZusje and Urs015 from previous events and remembered both also wanted to visit HQ someday.
The past half year, plans were made and slowly the Roadtrip got it's shape. We were planning to visit Seattle with GC HQ, the GeoTour, 10-different-types-of caches-on-1-day, and some labcaches. The trip continued towards the APE, south to Portland for a few 'Oldies', and finally we headed north to Canada for some trails by bike.
Now our adventure is about to end. We hope you want to join us and say goodbye!
The event will be held at the beginning of the Pier. White Rock Pier is a 1542 foot long pier in White Rock, British Columbia. Originally built in 1914. It was a dock for steamships that arrived when the Great Northern Railway began operation. On December 20, 2018, the pier was severely damaged during a wind storm.
People are watching and relaxing; there are restaurants and gift shops... Enough to spend a lovely evening
No worries, you will recognize us ;-)
Of course we will bring stuff from across the Atlantic!
There will be:
=> Travel Bugs and Geocoins to trade and discover,
=> Woodies and goodies to take as souvenirs,
