The twentieth event in a series of monthly events taking place in different squares of the Dartmoor 365; the square the event is chosen at random by raffle at each event. The square pulled out for this month is L8 Holming Beam. The event will start at around Midday at the given co-ordinates for geo-chat, TB exchanging etc, AND A BBQ! People are free to come and go as they please. Skittles and I will be there until around 2pm, but depending on the weather/attendees it may go on for longer.
Hayward focuses on two species of Rush in the book; Soft Rush and Heath Rush. As well as a boundary stone engraved with DCP which stands for Directors of Convict Prisons.
As the square doesn't hold much more than a track, a river, a couple of bridges and parking we decided that as it is August we shall have another BBQ, at lunch time this time! Please let us know if you will be eating and if you have any dietary requirements.
