There is a large grassy area with a tarmac perimeter path, popular with dog walkers and runners. There is a small woodland, a fruit hedgerow and at the far side of the Rec a varied play area suitable for children up to the age of 14 which includes swings, climbing frames and boulders and a multi use games area (outside of school hours only).
