Kick back and take a load off! Come and lounge away at the benches here, enveloped by beautiful Roses!! I surmise this rose garden at the heart of Sidney is a lost gem to many, even to local residents. It features a cute arbor and an expansive spread of flower beds showcasing Roses and a few other garden varieties. Large trees provide sufficient shade at parts, letting you find refuge from the sun, then peace and tranquility.
A hint of First Nations heritage of the area is displayed with an impressive Totem Pole. Outdoor exercise equipment nearby gives you light strength and cardio exercise. Reading adventures beckon from the public library, can't forget about that!
The Rose Garden was erected for the purpose of being a memorial. Who is it, is the Town of Sidney commemorating with this impressive display of symmetrical garden bed design and its variety of roses? I leave that for you to figure out.
Also, be sure to return the Geocache to its exact position (it is marked with an 'X') so that it will not be damaged and also secure for the next seeker, thanks
