Il Jôf di Miezegnot (2087m) è una montagna nelle Alpi Giulie tra la Val Canale e la Val di Dogna. Il suo nome tedesco è „Malborgether Mittagskofel” (montagna del mezzogiorno di Malborghetto), poiché sorge a sud del villaggio di Malborghetto. Durante la prima guerra mondiale, il fronte tra Austria e Italia correva direttamente sulla cresta sommitale tra la Val Canale e la Val di Dogna, per cui si verificarono forti battiti sul Jôf di Miezegnot e le sue vette vicine. I resti di numerose postazioni e rifugi da questa epoca sono visibili ancora oggi.

Der Jôf di Miezegnot (2087m) ist ein Berg in den Julischen Alpen zwischen dem Kanaltal und dem Dogna Tal. Sein deutscher Name ist „Malborgether Mittagskofel“, da er sich südlich der Ortschaft Malborghetto/Malborgeth erhebt. Im 1. Weltkrieg verlief die Frontlinie zwischen Österreich und Italien direkt über den Gipfelkamm zwischen Kanaltal und Dogna Tal, weshalb der Malborgether Mittagskofel und seine Nachbargipfel schwer umkämpft waren. Davon zeugen auch heute noch die Reste zahlreicher Stellungen und Unterkünfte am Gipfel.

Its german name is „Malborgether Mittagskofel“ (noon-mountain of Malborghetto), as it rises south of the village Malborghetto. In World War I, the front line between Austria and Italy ran directly over the summit ridge between Val Canale and Val di Dogna, so heavy foughts took place on Jôf di Miezegnot and its neighboring summits. The remains of numerous war-positions and accommodations from that time can still be seen today.

Poldašnja špica/Jôf di Miezegnot (2087 m) je gora v Julijskih Alpah med Kanalsko dolino in dolino Dunje. Njeno nemško ime je ”Malborgether Mittagskofel” (Naborjetsko poldne), ker se dviga južno od vasi Naborjet/Malborghetto/Malborgeth. V prvi svetovni vojni je frontna črta med Avstro-ogrskim imperijem in kraljevino Italijo potekala neposredno po grebenu. Težki boji so potekali tako na Poldašnji špici, kot na sosednjih vrhovih, o čimer še danes pričajo mnogi ostanki.
