We are scheduling a Meet and Greet Event cache to get together with fellow Geocachers on Thursday August 22nd from 10:00AM until 10:30AM.
We will be on Holland America's Zuiderdam, which will be doing the second half of its 2019 Voyage of the Vikings cruise and is on its way back to Boston. The Zuiderdam is scheduled to be in port from 8:00AM until 4:00PM. We will be holding this Event, assuming that the weather permits the ship's tendering operation to be running.
We would like to meet at the Framtíd Hotel. We will meet outside by the deck, if the weather is good or inside the hotel if the weather is not. We hope there are some local residents who will join us at the Meeting.
The logbook will be available from 10:00 AM until 10:30AM. The distance to the hotel is about 1,000 feet from the tender pier, along a paved road. There is a slight uphill from the tender pier to a level road and then a slight downhill to the hotel.
You will be able to spot us, as we will be carrying a geocaching logo flag.
