Kрепост Калето
През ХII век на това място е била построена антична крепост. За пръв път крепостта Козяк(наричана от местните „Калето“) е регистрирана в поемата на Мануил Фил, възпяваща похода на Михаил Глава Тарханиот в Североизточна България срещу цар Ивайло, през 1276 г.
След възстановяването на Втората българска държава през 1185г., българите започнали да строят на много места крепости с малки размери - феодални замъци. В края на ХII-ти и началото на ХIII-ти в. Обзор също става център на феодално владение, чийто господар построява нова феодална крепост в близост до селището, на северозапад от него с името Козяк. Крепостта е регистрирана върху морски карти от ХIV-ХV в. Пристанището й било добре известно на венецианските и генуезките мореплаватели, които в мирни времена разтоварвали основно платове и изнасяли с корабите си дървен материал, вино, пшеница и ечемик.
Според описанието на К. Шкорпил височината на крепостта Козяк е двойно защитена с яки крепости стени, като горната част представлява неправилен шестоъгълник.
Долната част на крепостта е с четириъгълна форма с дължина около 160 т и ширина около 75 т. Цялостно погледнато укреплението има неправилен правоъгълен план с размери 210х75 тм и площ от 15.1 дка. От юги североизток крепостта е била най- достъпна и поради това от тези страни укрепленията са били по- солидни. От североизток е била издигната кула за допълнителна защита, аот югебил главният вход на крепостта.
В днешно време укреплението е силно обезличено, като се предвижда възстановяване и реконструиране на останките на крепостта.
Fortress Kaleto
In the 12th century a medieval fortress was built on this place. For the first time, the Kozyak fortress (called by the locals "Kaleto") was mentioned in the poem of Manuel Phil, praising the march of Michael Glava Tarhaniot in Northeast Bulgaria against King Ivaylo in 1276.
After the restoration of the Second Bulgarian Country in 1185, the Bulgarians began to build small fortresses in many places-feudal castles. At the end of the 12th and the beginning of the 13th century, Obzor became a center of feudal possession,whose lord built a new feudal fortress near the settlement, to the northwest of it, named Kozyak. The fortress is registered on 14th-15th-century sea maps.
The harbor was well-known to the Venetian and Genoese seafarers, who in times of peace unloaded mainly fabrics and they exported timber, wine, wheat, and barley with their ships. According to the description of K. Škorpil, the height of the Kozyak Fortress is double protected by strong fortress walls as the upper part being an irregular hexagon.
The lower part of the fortress has a rectangular shape about 160m long and about 75m wide. Generally, the fortifications have an irregular rectangular plan measuring 210x75m and an area of 15.1 decares. From the south and northeast, the fortress was most accessible, and therefore the fortifications were more solid than the other sides. A tower for extra protection was built from the northeast, and from the south it was the main entrance of the fortress.
Nowadays, everything is heavily ruined, so that reconstruction of the remains of the fortress is planned.

During our holiday in Obzor I went to the surrounding hills for a small trip associated with hunting for one cache. On the way to the cache, I came across a path, respectively. Ecopath Kaleto Obzor with many infotables, shelters, rest areas, railings, stairs and especially beautiful green nature. Just something other than the sea, sand and hotel resort. When I reached the top of the hill I placed a cache there. If you are tired of lying on the beach or swimming pool, go on to a small trip to the mountains, it does not take more than 2 hours.
