Geocache Description:

This is part of a series of caches which pays tribute to one of our favorite TV shows. This Sci-Fi "original" series debuted in 1966 and was created by Gene Roddenberry. It aired for 3 seasons on NBC and was followed by an animated series, 5 spin-off TV series, and 13 films.

This Constitution-class starship served five captains from 2245-2285 and included Captains Christopher Pike, James T. Kirk, Will Decker, Jean-Luc Picard, William Riker, Benjamin Sisko, Kathryn Janeway, and Jonathan Archer. This ship had encounters with V'ger and Khan Noonien Singh before being destroyed over Gensis. It's original insignia NCC-1701 is well know to many and was followed by the NCC-1701-B through J. Of course as with any series that has gone between TV and motion pictures, histories get a little confusing. You are looking for a camo bison tube This is a high muggle area !!!!
