Geocache Description:

Eric Wright Lookout

The Byron Bay Dwarf Graminoid Clay Heath is the accepted name for the plant community that is found on gently sloping clay ridges of low relief, within the Byron Bay Council area. It's a mixture of woody and grassy species that and only 5ha of this ecosystem are left in the Byron Council Area.

Beautiful in it's own right, and from GZ the view is amazing. You look down the heath onto the busy little township of Byron Bay. The views extend over Arakwal National Park and out to the sea. One of the best vantage points in town.

There's an information board at GZ, you can find the cache by standing here. No bush bashing required. There's no need to walk though the heath to find this stash.

The cache has a number printed inside the lid. You need this number to find another cache in town. You're looking for a regular sized container with logbook, pencil and swaps.
