FR : Chavannes-des-Bois est un petit village de mille habitants dont la première trace écrite remonte à 1316.
La commune est située en pleine campagne tout à l’ouest du canton de Vaud, à deux pas du Jura et des rives du Lac Léman.
La transformation de l’ancienne station d’épuration a permis de donner au public un lieu de pique-nique et barbecue en forêt.
