After you visit this little time capsule in the middle of the city, you'll want to dust off your high school copy of "Giants In the Earth" and remember the people who braved the open prairie to settle this area.
Once you find the cache, you'll need to do a little poking around to find the log too.
There is no pencil in the cache, bring something to write with and do your best to replace it the way it was found.
