Geocache Description:

Ever drive the section of hiway #48 between Kipling and Windthorst and notice these tires dug partly into the ground? If so, you probably wondered whatever for unless you already know. Well some years ago, some one had a big idea. Lets build a go-chart track here and they did. It operated a few years but probably due to the sprase population of the rural area here, it was short lived. All that remains now are these tires sticking out of the ground and the earthen berms at the ends. Now you know "the rest of the story"! Enjoy the find.

Up-date August 11 2019. Opps, I goofed here. This track was not used by go-carts as I had stated but was for stock car racing in the 1980's! Better yet but that is a while ago. Thanks to sherryskate for correcting me here. The hide remains.
