The Prom is a popular spot for a Sunday afternoon walk, quick jog or a chance to turn the pedals without worrying about cars. It was re-estabilshed as a walk from the Pier Head to Otterspool following the riots of 1981. If you travel up river from this cache you will come accross the old landing stage for the ferry dropping off passegers for the Festival Gardens.
