GIFF 2019

Last year, I hosted an event that around 60 people attended. It was a great night but it was very busy and full. This year, the GIFF event is in a place which has a bigger capacity

The GIFF event has a film which is around an hour long. By attending a GIFF event, you will receive a special virtual souvenir for your Geocaching profiile.

Where?

The event will be hosted at a pub in Preston City Centre called the "Stanley Arms".

The address is 24 Lancaster Road, Preston, Lancashire, PR1 1DA.

When?

The event will be hosted on 11th of November 2019.

The start time is 18:00 and end time is at around 21:30, or until last person leaves.

Venue

The venue is the "Stanley Arms". It is a popular pub located in Preston City Centre. It has great transport links, being just 10 minutes walk away from Preston Train Station and 2 minutes walk away from Preston Bus Station

Arrangements

 We have the whole upstairs to ourselves. The film will start at 19:30.

We will have around 90-100 spaces upstairs to watch the film. At the front, there will be bean bags and near the back, taller tables. You will be able to eat upstairs and also downstairs.

Entry to the event is FREE

Upstairs, there is a private bar that could be opened however this is cash only so please be aware.

A normal menu will be on however in addition, there will also be more "snack" type food, such as hot dogs, mini burgers etc.

The screen is roughly 2.5 metres wide and 2 metres tall so will be very large and will work very well.

Cake!

Last year, I couldn't find a cake large enough but this year, there will definitely be cake!
