Viena įspūdingiausių vietų Nidoje ir visoje Lietuvoje – Parnidžio kopa. Ant Parnidžio kopos galima stebėti saulės kelią: gėrėtis, kaip ji ryte pakyla iš vandens, o vakare vėl į vandenį nugrimzta. Įdomi yra Parnidžio kopos pavadinimo interpretacija. Vietiniai gyventojai mano, kad pavadinimas kilęs iš frazės „perėjusi per Nidą“. Ši vėjo pustoma kopa net kelis kartus „perkeliavo“ per Nidos gyvenvietę. Pustomos kopos tikrai ypač jautriai reaguoja į žmonių lankymąsi. Mokslininkų skaičiavimais, vienas žmogus, lipdamas ar leisdamasis stačiais kopų šlaitais, išjudina kelias tonas smėlio, todėl keliautojams leidžiama judėti tik specialiais tam įrengtais takais. Vaikštant po kopas ir mėgaujantis jų ramybe, laiko neskaičiuoja niekas. Jei vis dėlto lankytojams svarbu, kiek yra valandų,  granitinis Saulės laikrodis, pastatytas ant Parnidžio kopos, tiksliai parodys laiką. Pietinėje Nidos  dalyje driekiasi 1 700 m pažintinis takas. One of the most impressive places in Nida and all over Lithuania is the Parnidis Dune. On the dune of Parnidis one can observe the sun's path: admire it as it rises from the water in the morning and dives again in the evening. The interpretation of the name of the Parnidis dune is interesting. The locals believe the name comes from the phrase "crossed Nida". This wind-blown dune "moved" several times through Nida settlement. Inflatable dunes are extremely sensitive to people visiting. According to scientists, one person moves several tons of sand while climbing or descending the steep slopes of the dunes, so only hikers are allowed to use special trails. Walking around the dunes and enjoying their tranquility, no one spends time. If, however, visitors are concerned about the number of hours, a granite sundial built on the Parnidis dune will accurately show the time. In the southern part of Nida there is a 1 700 m sightseeing trail. Traveling along the Parnidis sightseeing trail you will see natural meadows, white and gray dunes, man-made forests, all of which include the entire history of the Curonian Spit, as well as beautiful views and diversity of landscapes.

Einer der beeindruckendsten Orte in Nida und ganz Litauen ist die Parnidis-Düne. Auf der Düne von Parnidis kann man den Weg der Sonne beobachten: Bewundern Sie ihn, wenn er morgens aus dem Wasser steigt und abends wieder taucht. Interessant ist die Interpretation des Namens der Parnidis-Düne. Die Einheimischen glauben, dass der Name von der Phrase "gekreuzte Nida" kommt. Diese vom Winde verwehte Düne "bewegte" sich mehrmals durch die Siedlung Nida. Aufblasbare Dünen reagieren sehr empfindlich auf Besucher. Laut Wissenschaftlern bewegt eine Person mehrere Tonnen Sand, während sie die steilen Hänge der Dünen hinauf- oder hinuntersteigt, sodass nur Wanderer spezielle Pfade benutzen dürfen. Wenn man durch die Dünen geht und die Ruhe genießt, verbringt niemand Zeit. Wenn sich die Besucher jedoch Gedanken über die Anzahl der Stunden machen, zeigt eine auf der Parnidis-Düne gebaute Granitsonnenuhr die Uhrzeit genau an. Im südlichen Teil von Nida gibt es einen 1 700 m langen Rundweg. Auf dem Parnidis-Rundweg sehen Sie natürliche Wiesen, weiße und graue Dünen, von Menschenhand geschaffene Wälder, die die gesamte Geschichte der Kurischen Nehrung widerspiegeln, sowie wunderschöne Aussichten und abwechslungsreiche Landschaften.

Ant Urbo kalno puikuojasi Nidos švyturys, pačiame viršuje įrengta apžvalgos aikštelė. Šviesos signalus švyturys siunčia tik tamsiuoju paros metu: temstant lempa automatiškai įsijungia, o švintant  išsijungia. Švyturys turi savarankišką elektros stotį, todėl šviesa sklinda ir tada, jei nutrūksta elektros tiekimas. Nidos švyturys – navigacinis ženklas, siųsdamas baltos šviesos blyksnius, padeda laivams orientuotis jūroje.
