Welcome to Ella Street! =]
Ella Street is a beautiful location in the middle of the city. It hosts a locally-famous bird trail that is an excellent family-friendly activity to do. Spot all the birds, houses, and artwork!
Artist Martin Heron and the Ella Street Residents Association are responsible for the beautiful artwork down the street. Not only is there plenty of statues and wall art to look at, but the street is also filled with bird feeders and houses. The birds they chose to make into sculptures also live locally down the street =]
Walking down Ella Street you will see plenty of garden boxes. They were originally created to keep motorists off the verge, however, are now used to grow flowers and veg by the locals.
Ella Street is definitely one of my favourite walks in Hull, it’s peaceful and very pretty. I’d highly recommend it for families. Heads up, this is a one-way street and parking around this location is always full.
Look for the signs down Ella Street to follow the trail!
