Explore our trails…SAFELY! This is a natural Wildland area and the area includes; snakes, scorpions, spiders, bees, wasps, thorns, poison ivy and more! Nature is beautiful…but we need to remember that we are visitors. Please be mindful and respect the wildlife. When hiking make sure you follow some basic safety rules; go with a partner, wear sunscreen, wear bug repellant, take water and stay hydrated, stay alert and aware of your surroundings. Be extra cautious around tall grasses and anywhere your site is limited. Do not approach any wildlife, as they may be territorial. There are also rabbits and raccoons in this park…we want to keep our animals safe, please do not disturb them. Also, there are no trash cans along the natural trails….please pack out what you bring with you on your hike. Take as many pictures as you like and share! Thank you, happy hunting and stay safe!
