Thank you Crimefighter89!!
This cache is a kudos to Crimefighter89. Without your inception of the Middle to Locust First to Find Power Trail, we wouldn't have 82 new caches in the QCA area, 82 caches with every icon available to hide within this power trail, munis an Earth Cache and a Virtual, for obvious reasons. Thank you for the fun idea that has lasted 2 years and almost 8 months from ;1/25/2017 to 8/6/2019 (time of this cache write up).
I'd make this a tribute cache but being FTFPT cache I didn't know if that is in the rules, but maybe the local cachers will give you the honors. (or you will just get the FTF!)
Congrats buddy!
Middle Road, turning into Locust Street spans 20 miles, beginning in northeast Bettendorf and ending in western Davenport. It is a thoroughfare for traffic in Scott County.
This is a FTF Power Trail, beginning at the start of Middle Road. A "Power Trail" is a series of at least 50 geocaches within close proximity. A "FTF Power Trail" means that if you are the "first to find" (i.e. the 'FTF') of a cache in this series, PLEASE 'pay it forward' by placing the next cache along this trail, and do so within two weeks of getting the FTF. Keep in mind that some areas will be higher muggle traffic than others, so you may have to be creative in your hides, or may have to dive slightly off course to put out a hide.
Bring a log extraction tool and a pen to sign this one, You must sign the log sheet to claim this find online, I reserve the right to delete online logs if your name's not on the log sheet. No Hints in your online log or it will be deleted. Thank you! and Happy Caching!
*** Please park legally and safely when hunting for all of these FTF Power Trail caches! ***
