Have a seat and enjoy the view of Turtle Tower (Tháp Rùa), built in 1886 on the same site where a Ta Vong Temple had been built during the 17th or 18th century. Somewhere between the Restored Le Dynasty and the Nguyen Dynasty that temple disappeared. The tower that stands there now was erected on the same site to commemorate a warrior and the impact he had on Vietnam.
The area surrounding the lake is very popular among Vietnamese and visiting tourists. The street around the lake is closed to traffic on the weekends and becomes a lively walking street. Whatever the day or time, there are likely always muggles around. Please take care when replacing the cache that it’s not easily visible from above. Enjoy!
