Hidden Valley - Elbow
This set of caches are hidden in what we call “Hidden Valley” This area is west of Lythrodontas and, as far as we can tell, is visited only by a goat herder and a herd of goats and, hopefully, some geocachers.
There are 3 access points, one on the north side (point A) and two on the south (points B and C) on the map attached. The valley comprises plenty of viewpoints all accessible by an extensive network of off road tracks. We found all of the tracks to have been recently graded and in good condition and suitable for a normal car in dry conditions. We would recommend using a 4WD vehicle after heavy rains as there is evidence of water flowing off the high ground, across the tracks and down into the valley.
During our recon, we found it quite disorientating as there are so many different tracks all having numerous twists and turns. When you come across a junction whilst searching for a cache it is not always immediately obvious which track to take. Consequently, to help you navigate, we have prepared a basic map that shows the layout of the main tracks and the co-ordinates at the main junction points. (We have not placed any caches on the Fire Break Tracks) We would strongly recommend that you print off a copy and take it with you so you can identify exactly where you are in the valley whilst on your adventure.

Please take plenty of Water and refreshments as there are no facilities in the immediate area. There are toilets available at the Picnic Area marked as Mantra Tou Kampiou on the map.
