Ai piedi della piccola cascata di Riu sos Molinos, nome in sardo che significa "il torrente dei mulini".
La cascata si trova al centro di una suggestiva gola, immersa nel verde della natura e pervasa dall'inconfondibile odore di foglie d'alloro, che circondano la cascata e il torrente. Da un'altezza di trenta metri l'acqua del Rio Molinos si distribuisce su cinque salti fino a giungere in una raccolta naturale contornata da un fitto bosco di querce, alloro e altre piante.
In passato l'acqua di questo torrente veniva usata per dare energia a numerosi mulini e gualchiere, i cui resti si trovano ancora lungo il suo corso, e che rappresentavano il sistema fondamentale per la macinazione dei cereali. I resti di uno di questi mulini si trova proprio alla fine del sentiero per arrivare alla cascata.
Si arriva al sentiero dalla strada provinciale 15 che da Bonarcado porta a Santu Lussurgiu. Il sentiero si apre direttamente dalla piazzola della strada asfaltata e prosegue verso il basso, in mezzo alla vegetazione, alternandosi a tratti di gradoni in pietra.
La cascata è più rigogliosa nel periodo invernale. Nel periodo estivo il flusso di acqua è minore, ma è comunque piacevole visitarla anche perchè nelle giornate calde, inoltrandosi nel sentiero e cominciando a scendere verso il basso, la temperatura magicamente diventa fresca e piacevole, e ci si può rinfrescare nelle acque del torrente.
Consigliata anche la visita a San Leonardo, piccolo paesino suggestivo a circa 10 km di distanza dalla cascata, noto soprattutto per le fonti d'acqua (potabile), chiamate Siete Fuentes (Sette Fonti), e per l'antica chiesetta medievale.

At the foot of the small Riu sos Molinos waterfall, a Sardinian name meaning "the torrent of mills".
The waterfall is located in the center of a suggestive gorge, immersed in the greenery of nature and pervaded by the unmistakable smell of laurel leaves, which surrounds the waterfall and the stream. From a height of thirty meters the water of the Rio Molinos is distributed over five jumps until it reaches a natural water extents surrounded by a dense forest of oaks, laurel and other plants.
In the past the water of this stream was used to give energy to numerous mills, whose remains can be found along its course, and which represents the fundamental system for grinding cereal. The remains of one of these mills is located right at the end of the path to reach the waterfall.
You can find the beginning of the path from the provincial road 15 which leads from Bonarcado to Santu Lussurgiu. The path opens directly from the rest area and continues downwards, in the middle of the vegetation, alternating with stretches of stone steps.
The waterfall is more lush in winter. In the summer the flow of water is lower, but it is still pleasant to visit it also because on hot days, advancing in the path and starting to go downwards, the temperature magically becomes cool and pleasant, and you can refresh yourself in the waters of the stream.
Is also recommended a visit to San Leonardo, a small charming town about 10 km from the waterfall, known above all for its water sources (drinking water), called Siete Fuentes (Seven water sources), and for the ancient medieval church.
