A cache on a beautiful trail near an incredible tree.
A short but somewhat steep hike is required to reach the cache.
You can start the hike at either of two locations:
At the Astoria Column - Take the trail down past Column Cache.
On Irving Avenue - Park at the trailhead near Cathedral Trail.
The Cathedral Tree is a Sitka Spruce, over 300 years old and over 200 feet in height. It survived a devastating wind storm here in 2007 (and many other storms as well).
