This series is along a small portion of the old shellbrook highway which was abandoned once the new highway was opened many years ago. It is a narrow paved road that is not maintained but can be easily driven by vehicle when snow is not an issue or by ATV or snowmobile when conditions dictate. Please note, however, not all the caches are winter friendly. The caches along the trail consist of several different types of cache containers so expect the unexpected. If you happen to arrive in berry picking season, expecially blueberry season, you may want to enjoy a snack along the way. Enjoy!
