Per arrivare a questo geocache avete due possibilità: potete raggiungerlo dalla strada, lasciando semplicemente la macchina parcheggiata dietro la chiesa di Sant’Ampelio, oppure accedervi a piedi passando dal lungomare. Se scegliete la seconda opzione, ma vi trovate in centro città, dovete guardarvi in giro e cercare i cartelli “al mare”. una volta trovati, seguite la direzione indicata fino ad arrivare sulla lunga strada che costeggia il mare. Proseguite sempre verso sinistra, in qualsiasi punto vi troviate, fino ad arrivare alla fine di questa lunga strada. Giunti quasi alla fine di questa lunga passeggiata, vedrete alla vostra sinistra l’hotel Parigi. Più avanti, sull’angolo, un edificio rosa. Davanti a voi una piccola salita: proseguite sempre dritto fino ad arrivare a scorgere una piazza e, più avanti, una chiesa: Sant’Ampelio.
Lasciate la chiesa alla vostra destra e proseguite quindi sul marciapiede alla sinistra della chiesa, sulla via Aurelia. Proseguite fino a quando noterete alla vostra sinistra, al di là della strada, la statua della Regina Margherita. Attraversate quindi la strada sulle strisce pedonali e addentratevi nella pineta scegliendo il sentiero subito alla destra della statua. Tenete sempre la destra salendo tutte le scale. A questo punto siete arrivati sul sentiero asfaltato. Proseguite fino qlla statua di Charles Garnier. Lasciate alla vostra destra le scale e proseguite seguendo il sentiero asfaltato in salita. Fermatevi al secondo lampione della luce e giratevi sulla vostra destra. Siete arrivati ad un punto panoramico. Godetevi la vista e date un’occhiata verso il basso (le scale nascondono sempre qualcosa).
To get to this geocache you have two options: you can reach it from the road, simply leaving the car parked behind the church of Sant 'Ampelio, or access it on foot by the seafront. If you choose the second option, but you are in the city center, you have to look around and look for signs "al mare" (which means “at the sea”). once found them, follow the indicated direction until you reach the long road that runs along the sea. Continue always to the left, wherever you are, until you reach the end of this long road. When you are almost at the end of this long walk, you will see “Hotel Parigi” on your left. On the corner there’s a pink building. In front of you a small slope: go straight on until you reach a square and straight on there’s a church: Sant’Ampelio.
Leave the church on your right and then go on following the sidewalk on the left of the church, on Via Aurelia. Go on until you see on your left, across the road, the statue of Queen Margherita. Then cross the street on the pedestrian crossing and enter the pine forest choosing the path immediately to the right of the statue. Always keep the right going up all the stairs. At this point you have arrived on the paved path. Go on up to the statue of Charles Garnier. Leave the stairs to your right and continue following the uphill paved path. Stop at the second streetlight and turn to your right. You have arrived at a vantage point. Enjoy the view and take a look down (the stairs always hide something).
