The sunset of summer has begun. School is back in session, outdoor swimming pools are closing for the season, and all of the shops are replacing Halloween merchandise with Christmas merchandise. Let's gather for one last summertime hurrah! What better way to do so than with a true warm weather treat: Hawaiian shave ice.*
We'll meet for at least an hour on Saturday, August 31st starting at 5:30 PM. Only heavy rain or snow (not of the dessert variety) will cancel this event. Parking is plentiful next to the posted coordinates. Be sure to bring an appetite and perhaps a tale or two to share.
