Løvernes Konge
Denne cacheserie er en hyldest til Walt Disney, manden som har beriget vores barndom med så mange fantastiske tegnefilm.
Løvernes Konge er film nummer 32 i rækken af Disney Klassikere. Det tog seks år at producere den. Musikken blev leveret af bl.a Elton John og Tim Rice. Filmen modtog fire Oscar nomineringer for musikken. Den blev udgivet i 1994, og er senere genudgivet og også lavet som musical. Samlet har den på verdensplan indtjent 968 millioner dollars.
På den afrikanske savanne hersker Løvernes Konge, Mufasa. Han får en søn, Simba, som bliver præsenteret for alle dyrene. Simba får tidligt at vide, at han skal overtage tronen, og behandle alle dyr og landet med respekt.
Der er samtidig født en lille dameløve, Nala, som han vokser op sammen med.
Mufasa har en bror, Scar, som meget gerne vil overtage tronen, og han har allieret sig med hyænerne. De får lokket Simba ind på en elefantkirkegård for at dræbe ham, men de opdages i sidste øjeblik og planen forpurres. I næste forsøg lykkes det Scar at dræbe Mufasa, og han giver Simba skylden. Scar bliver nu konge og styrer landet i et benhårdt regime.
Simba flygter ud i ørkenen, og er ulykkelig. Her møder han Timon og Pumba - en surikat og et vortesvin. De leger sig nærmest gennem livet og hjælper Simba til at se lysere på tingene - Hakuna Matata.
Da Simba, som ung hanløve, møder Nala igen - overbeviser hun ham om, at det ikke var hans skyld at Mufasa døde, og at han skal tage tilbage og kæmpe mod Scar for at få landet tilbage til en ny lykkelig tid. Simba får hjælp fra sine venner, og sammen lykkes det at få Scar væltet af tronen og igen få glæde over den afrikanske savanne.

The Lion King is Classic number 32 in the row of Disney Classics. It took six years to produce it. The music was made by o.a. Elton John and Tim Rice. The movie received four Oscar nominations for the music. It was released in 1994, it is later re-released and has also been turned into a musical. The movie has worldwide grossed $ 968 million.
On the african savannah the Lion King, Mufasa, rules. He has a son, Simba, who is presented to all the animals. Simba is told early, that he will become king, and that he has to treat all animals and the country with respect. At the same time, a little ladylion is born - Nala. They grow up together.
Mufasa has a brother, Scar, who would love to overtake the throne and he allied himself with the hyenas. They lure Simba into an elephant graveyard to kill him, men they are discovered at the very last minute, and their plan is destroyed. In the next attempt Scar succeeds in killing Mufasa and he blaims Simba. Scar is now crowned king and he rules the land in a hard regime.
Simba flees into the desert and he is unhappy. Here he meets Timon and Pumbaa, a meerkat and a warthog. They are almost playing their way through life and they help Simba to see brighter on things - Hakuna Matata.
When Simba, as a young lion meets Nala again, she convinces him that it wasn't his fault, that Mufasa died, and that he has to go back and fight Scar to win the land back to a new happy beginning. Simba gets help from his friends and together they succeed to throw Scar of the throne and bring happiness back to the african savannah.
