MT Fellwalker:
Since there has been no response from the owner regarding the concerns over the container's location, I must archive the listing. If it can be relocated to a nearby spot that is not on the railroad right-of-way, we can discuss unarchiving the listing.

Thank you for your understanding.

Geocache Description:

Within a few hundred feet of Historical Information sign.

Seneacquoteen
Centuries before David Thompson discovered this river, native people camped at this river crossing. Then came fur traders, surveyors, and miners following the old Indian Trail that forded the river here at Seneacquoteen, a Kalispell word meaning crossing.

During the Kootenai Gold Rush of 1864-85, a wagon road came from Walla Walla, Washington to a ferry here. The eager miners then followed the Wild horse Trail, a pack route, North to Wild Horse Creek, North East of present day Cranbrook in British Columbia.

Original Contents: Grizzly Trail pin, watch, bracelet, Creston, BC pin, jogging pedometer, Canadian "Loonie", Chicken & chick, F-14 Tomcat Fighter travel bug, log book and pencil.
