Tämä mielestäni esittelynarvoinen paikka sai oman kätkösarjan. Lehmijärvi on paikkana historiasta ja luonnonkauniista maisemista innostuneille kiinnostava paikka.Helppo ja hauska kätkösarja on suunniteltu kaikenikäisille. Oma kynä ja iloinen mieli mukaan.Mielikuvitusta vaativa hauska kätkö. Jätäthän autosi P-paikalle. Kätköllä on maanomistajan lupa.
Santalahden luonnonparantolan kylpylätoiminnan katkaisi talvisota. 1940 kerrotaan, että Lehmijärvellä oli Halilan parantolasta evakuoituja ihmisiä. Kerrotaan myös, että 1941 -43 tiloissa toimi Hangon lohkon sotasairaala ja 1944 -47 Karjalan lastenkylä. Lähellä olevalla kallioisella rannalla, nykyisten majoitusrakennusten takana, sijaitsi aikoinaan ruumishuone.
