The Castle pub and bowling green was on this site until 2004 when regulars lost a 9 month fight to save it, the case taken to county court, backed by a 500 petition, a bid to build 11 homes then being submitted.
This is a small series of caches set around our picturesque area which can be done individually or as a gentle walk.
