Geocache Description:

This cache is in memory of Fire 1081 and his wife The co-pilot who were long time geocachers in the Virgil area.

Fire1041 joined geocaching in 2008 and at the time of this death had 1807 caches and 48 hides. Ted was also an active member of the Virgil Fire department and was always willing to share a story or two about his geocaching adventures. I unfortunately did not meet his wife, The co-pilot before her untimely death. She joined the geocaching community in 2009 and had found 881 and had 18 hides. Fire1041 was known for his many R.I.P. caches as well as the EDGCT GeoGolf Course. This is the location of one of his archived R.I.P. caches. Rest in Peace Fire1081 and The co-pilot. Bring your own writing utensil and take a look around at the 1800 grave stones. As with all cemetery caches, please be respectful of the fact that this is a cemetery and do not disturb visitors or the gravestones. Please only cache during daylight hours.
