2019 Simi Valley Wildlife Corridor CITO #11

(Pictures from the 2018 CITO Event)
It's been another year since the last CITO event GC7YGE7 at the Simi Valley Wildlife Corridor. Again this year, there is plenty of graffiti and trash to be cleaned up.
Meet at 8 AM, at the far eastern end of Smith Road in Corriganville. (N 34° 15.987 W 118° 38.916).
Directions to trailhead: From Kuehner Drive and the 118, head South to Smith Road and turn left. Continue to the end Smith Road, passing the public parking area. Drive past the normally locked gate where the pavement ends, to a designated parking area, adjacent the rail road track. The hike from there to the Wildlife Corridor is about 0.3 miles, with about 350 feet of elevation gain.
The Rancho Simi Recreation and Park District will provide all we need for the event. You must bring your own water, snacks, and sunscreen. Please wear old work clothes, gloves and a hat.
After the event, we'll meet at a picnic area near the trail head. The event will end no later than 11:00 AM
This event is being held in conjunction with a Simi Valley Trail Blazers work party.
