Geocache Description:

10 September 2019, 18:30 - 19:15

This event is designed to be an introduction to Geocaching, co-hosted with Parks and Recreation. If you've never tried geocaching before, this is the one for you. Bring any questions you have, there will be a handful of local geocaching veterans meeting up there to get your curiosity going for this global satellite game of treasure hunting.

This event will be a little different since we're meeting up in the trees in hammocks and in a tree tent that can be reached by a walkway of slacklines. It's literally a tent that is suspended between four trees and feels just like a trampoline. There will be hand lines to help people along the slack line path up to the tree tent. The terrain reflects the challenge and that's why there are the tree climbing and difficult climbing attributes.

We'll be meeting by the benches in Freckleton Park on Wilson Ave by the Communication Recreation Center and there will be some snacks! If this is your first event, select 'log' and pick the 'will attend' option to say you plan to be there.
