Geocache Description:

The cache is a bison tube tied to a pine tree with blue paracord at eye level at a peaceful spot that has a gentle waterfall. Bring your own pen. You will have 400 foot elevation gain in about 6/10ths of a mile hike.

We very much enjoyed our hike up the Porcupine Gulch Trail although we wondered why the caches didn’t take us further up the trail.  The trail is steep and sometimes gravelly. But it levels off. I include a waypoint for a waterfall along the stream as well as a waypoint for where to turn off the trail and head to the cache that is less than 100 feet off the trail.

There is very little parking at the trailhead. DO NOT PARK NEAR THE RUNAWAY TRUCK RAMP. There is a little more parking a little downhill.
