Geocache Description:

The Annual GAGB Cache In Trash Out Week is scheduled for September 14 - 22 2019.  An official CITO 2019 digital souvenir will be available for events during this week, so attending this event could earn you the souvenir, assuming that you haven't already earned it as HQ have done a 3 month CITO season. Moira Furnace is a museum and anyone wishing to take a look around will be allowed FREE entry while here at this CITO. Lots of interesting hstory about the local area.

What?

This clean up will take place along the canal tow paths and around the woodland area regardless of the weather.

We will meet at the listed co-ordinates, Moira Furnace, where free parking is available.  Some of the area is suitable for wheelchairs.

When?

Sunday 15th September 2019.  We will meet at the listed co-ordinates at 1.00pm for a short Health and Safety briefing and this event is expected to last for up to 3 hours, this will give you time if you wish to visit the Museum and there will be tea/coffee with cake on the lawned area at Moira Furnace afterwards along with general geochat.

How?

Bin bags will be supplied, but please bring your own gloves, gardening gloves are best and if you have your own litter picker then please bring it along as I don't have many left.
