This is a nice flat hike or an easy Mountain
Bike ride along the "North
Shore Lake Hodges Trail". Catch the trailhead at the end of Sunset Drive. The trail runs
through a beautiful valley where Lake Hodges meanders when it is full.
The coordinates for this cache take you to the first clue. There are a total of
3 clues that must be discovered before you can find the cache.
1. You should be able to find Clue #1 without
too much trouble.
2. Clue #2 is a little more tricky. You
will need the following information for Clue #2:
Use the last 3 digits of the S/N on the first block to calculate
the
coordinates as follows:
Let's call the last three digits X
Latitude = N 33 03.(543 + X)
Longitude = W 117 04.(683 - X)
3. Clue #3 will take you to the cache.
Note: If you find yourself bush
whacking, look for another way to get to the cache site.
