(No need to touch the memorial!) I have seen many of these all across our great country and always make of point of grabbing any cache connected to one. This is the first one I've encountered that is on private land. It was also privately funded and built about a year ago. The stones were painted by a local resident whose son has deplyed 7 times.
You are looking for a camoed pill bottle, it was placed with permission of the owner Kate Davis. Please replace as you found it, no need to TOUCH or CLIMB on the memorial to find it, the cache is NOT on the memorial. Please take a moment and say hello to Ms. Kate in the nearby bar and grill, she is an American treasure and has quite a story to tell.
She is quite passonate about how the sacrifices of our military have enabled us to live in such a great country. We should not take them for granted and remember and honor them for thier service. The area was hit hard by the 2016 floods but they are recovering. Enjoy the journey.
Congrats to Titus for another FTF!
