Nice little park here in Milledgeville with a beautiful mural and lots of history. In 1885 the town Fathers of Milledgeville raised sixteen thousand dollars to persuade Chicago Burlington & Quincy railroad to bring it's tracks through the town. The railroad & depot were built during 1885-1886. Local residents roasted an ox and celebrated the arrival of the first train. Here you will find a nice little park bench to sit down and take a load off... and just a few feet away lies a really cool geo-cache that we had a lot of fun hiding! This is a unique container we found at MWGB this year, and it blends in perfectly in this little park setting. Please replace exactly as found, to keep out of sight of the local townsfolk and replace lid tightly to keep out water and snow. Cache is small-ish sized, it has a pencil and logsheet inside. It should have enough room for one trackable item as well.
