Beginning with the summer of 2019, PAGA (Pittsburgh Area Geocachers Association) has decided to start to honor those members that have reached a caching milestone. This first cache is being placed in South Park to honor our 4 members that reached milestones over the summer. Those members that reached a milestone during the summer are:
SCPO Rich. He reached 15,000 finds this summer. His milestone cache was 15,000 was GC52J2F - Tweeter Tweet
Renurts. They reached 6,000 finds this summer. Their milestone cache was GC7TH1A - Midwest Geobash 2019 - 15th Year!
Alitza12. She reached 100 finds this summer. Her milestone cache was GC73784 - Violet Cemetery #1
Buggs1214. She reached 250 finds this summer. Her milestone cache was GC74DJJ - Bumbles Bounce

The geocache that you are searching for in South Park. The cache is a regular sized lock n lock container, that clear with geocaching label on the outside. The cache is located along the red blazed trail. But you will need to leave the trail to find this find. It is about 100 to 110 feet off the trail. It is a typical woodlands hide for southwestern Pennsylvania. You will be tempted to take a short cut to this cache, but it is highly no recommended. You will be going through thick under brush, numerous thorns, over many down trees, and not have a really good experience. I highly suggest you park closer to the trail head and walk the trail in. If you choose to go the harder way, you are upping the terrain rating by a full star. You have been warned! Please re-hide the cache as you found it. There are some trade items inside, as well as the log book. Remember to sign the log book, because any log that says they did not sign it, will be deleted. There is a pen with the log book! This is the only rule that we have for our game.
