It Happens Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

The Yelling Madman: I checked on this one yesterday, and couldn't find the camouflage or container. I just don't have the desire to continue to purchase and replace this one every couple of finds.

Just under 2 years in the wild, 13 Finds/8 DNFs/3 Favorites isn't terrible for a cache like this I suppose.

Geocache Description:

Cache Information:

This cache is placed in the beautiful and under-used Wilgrove Park on Wilgrove-Mint Hill Road.  Take a walk through the area and enjoy the very nice walking trails and the playground with the kids.  While you're out here, you can also treat yourself to some caching, as this is the first cache placed in this park since rvstauff archived his multi-cache Mint Hill ROCKS!.  Thank you to him for letting me know that this space is available now.

This cache will require tweezers and some bravery to find.  There is a fence near the cache, do not cross it or mess with it.  When placing this, my GPS and iPhone were both jumping around as far as coordinates, I tried to use the most accurate coordinates I could, but they may be just a couple of feet/yards off.

Place the cache container back exactly as you found it, it's extremely important to the difficulty of the cache for the next finder.  This is meant to be a tough find.  Pictures of the cache are NOT allowed and will be removed.

Cache In Trash Out (C.I.T.O.)

Cache In Trash Out® (CITO) is an environmental initiative supported by the geocaching community. Since 2002, CITO has helped preserve the natural beauty of cache-friendly spaces. In that time, more than 363,000 people have volunteered at 18,000 CITO events.

CITO can happen on every geocaching adventure! Pick up trash that you see on the trail. Clean up the area around each geocache. These small acts make a huge difference.

For this cache specifically, you cross a small creek and walk through a small greenway on the way to GZ.  Please pick up any trash along the route and in the area, I picked up some while hiding this.  Thank you!
