of the
Geocaching International Film Festival

Join us for some good food, good fellowship, and a one hour World Premier viewing of the top ten winning finalists' films in the 2019 Geocaching International Film Festival

5:00 pm: Pot Luck Supper
5:30 pm: MSGA Award Ceremony & Door Prize Drawing
6:00 pm: View the 2019 Geocaching International Film Festival Shorts
7:00 pm: Vote on the Group’s Favorite Film
7:30 pm: Shared FTF Group Hunt for a new night cache!

LOCATION:

This is event is being held as part of the Mississippi Geocacher Association's Fall Gathering weekend at Roosevelt State Park in Morton, MS.

We have reserved a pavilion at this event's coordinates where we will hold the Pot Luck Supper and the GIFF Film Viewing.

The park charges a $4.00 Day Usage Fee per vehicle which allows you to come and go as much as you like for an entire day.

Of course you are also welcome to spend the night, or the entire weekend at Roosevelt State Park in one of their cabins, motel rooms, or in your own RV, Camper, or Tent.

GEOCACHING SOUVENIR:

This event has been registered with Groundspeak and approved as the official GIFF Weekend 2019 event for Mississippi. All attendees will receive the official 2019 GIFF souvenir on their Geocaching profile once they submit their 'Attended' log

FOOD:

If you attend the Pot Luck Supper portion of this event, please bring a MAIN DISH to share with everyone. (Please list in you Will Attend log what MAIN DISH you plan to bring so no one duplicates it)

CaneMaster will provide EVERYTHING ELSE: the napkins, plates, bowls, cups, utensils, condiments, soft drinks, water, ice, chips and dips, and desserts.

A very unique and memorable Night Caching Experience is being planned. Additionally, several geocachers plan to hide a bunch of new caches near the site of this event to be released on the evening of this event.
