Did ya Check the Terrain Rating #1 Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

the hiking viking: Checked GZ today and sure enough, cache is gone. ☹️ Who would stomp out here across this mess and steal this cache? Very odd. It's been very dry over the 30 days yet the water level here is higher than usual. So even though I brought a replacement cache with me today... I changed my mind and decided to archive this one and hide something different here. Ground hides are not safe here any longer.

Stand by.

Did ya Check the Terrain Rating? It’s rated 3.5 Stars because this is a Strenuous hike across widely variable terrain. It’s wet too. If you pick the wrong time to come here, you could be over your ankles in water. I’ve been out here a few times now in my high top hikers and managed to keep my socks dry. Choose each step wisely. Pick your best path to GZ. Change course if your best path turns rotten. Use a stick to help with balance and check water depth, plenty available here. This is close to Lamoreaux park, you know how nasty it is there in some spots. Close to the Grand. Need I say more?

I wouldn’t bring kids or dogs back here. You’ve been warned.
