Tarawera Tiki Tour - Wha
This cache is #4 in a series of 14 caches that will take you the length or Tarawera and Spencer Roads. This series is designed to be family friendly and should be achievable for all ages.
Depending on how popular the Blue Lake is at the time of your hunt, you may have parking access at a gateway to your left heading toward the gate. Otherwise you may need to park ahead to the right and go for a short walk. The walk is mostly stroller friendly, but you may need to put the brakes on once you get nearer to GZ. A light bush exploration is necessary, but please be very careful of our native trees - some are still juveniles.
-
Once you've found one, you will know exactly the size and shape of container that you're looking for. All 14 are identical.
-
Most caches in this set rely heavily on natural camo. Please ensure you leave them well covered after you visit.
-
Most finds will be easy park and grabs, with some requiring a short walk. Most are pushchair accessible, but those that aren't will say so.
-
The Dillnutz whanau includes two dogs, however there are some caches that we wouldn't bring our furry friends along to - these are noted.
-
Most caches are at ground level and any that are not, will say so in their individual descriptions.
-
Some have been placed deliberately within a short distance of other caches. Please take the time to check these out too if you're able to.
-
FInally, if any caches are missing, damp, damaged, drifted from their original position, or have some sort of discrepancy in their placements, please let us know so we can fix them up.
Happy caching!!
