This cache was placed with the intention that it not be found prior to 11AM on October 5, 2019.
Caches for the YYCCAR18 event are published early
so the geocaching community can plan their search routes before the event starts.
The original Pirate Grrlz POW#1 was placed in 2013 and de-activated in June of 2015. When I found it in January 2014 someone was using the nearby pump building to hide the flyers they were not delivering. I was in the area recently for another cache and took a stroll and found the cache and container on the ground. I've moved it a few meters South of the original cache location. I was amazed by how prolific Pirate Grrls were in placing caches (130) and I am sad to see they are no longer active.
