Tag ud i den skønne natur i skovene omkring Sorø by og søerne.
Her kan man finde mange spændende ting…
Blandt andet kan man finde denne lille jernbanebro, som kan få dig fra den ene side af banestrækningen til den anden.
"Den sjællandske Vestbane" eller kort "Vestbanen" er den statsejede jernbane, der strækker sig fra København til Korsør. Vestbanen er landets næstmest befærdede jernbane, efter S-banen i Københavnsområdet.
Vestbanen indviedes som den første jernbane i Danmark på strækningen mellem København og Roskilde 26. juni 1847.
Banen forlængedes 27. april 1856 til Korsør, hvor den i 1997 fik tilslutning til Storebæltsforbindelsen til Nyborg.
I 1988 blev strækningen fra Høje Taastrup Station til Roskilde Station udbygget til fire spor, efter at dette havde været diskuteret i 1888 og 1936.
Du befinder dig ved cachen i Sorø Sønderskov, som er ejet af Stiftelsen Sorø Akademi. Stiftelsen ejer en del skove (m.m.) i hele Sorø Kommune.
Disse skove bruges primært til Skovdrift (Se mere her: https://www.stiftsor.dk/skovbrug) - og så selvfølgelig til at vi alle kan få nogle fantastiske naturoplevelser i den skønne vilde natur.... :-)
Cachen er IKKE i nærheden af jernbaneskinnerne !!
Det er derfor IKKE NØDVENDIGT AT OPHOLDE SIG OPPE på broen, skinnerne eller skærverne omkring skinnerne !!!
Bevar altid dig selv og din sikkerhed i første række og legen som sekundært !!
Man må IKKE køre i bil (eller tilsvarende) i skoven. Grunden til der ikke er angivet koordinat til P-plads er, at cachen kan tilgås via utallige skovveje. Parkeringsudfordringen vil jeg lade være op til jer selv ;-)

Here you can find many exciting things…
Among other things you can find this small railway bridge, which can get you from one side of the line to the other.
"The Zealand West Railway" or in short the "West Railway" is the state-owned railway that extends from Copenhagen to Korsør. The West Railway is the country's second most traveled railway, after the "S-bane" in the Copenhagen Area.
The West Railway was inaugurated as the first railway in Denmark on the route between Copenhagen and Roskilde on June 26, 1847.
The course was extended to Korsør on April 27, 1856, where in 1997 it was connected to the Great Belt connection to Nyborg.
In 1988, the stretch from Høje Taastrup Station to Roskilde Station was expanded to four tracks after this was discussed in 1888 and 1936.
You are at the cache in Sorø Sønderskov, which is owned by the Sorø Academy Foundation. The foundation owns a number of forests (etc.) throughout the municipality of Sorø.
These forests are primarily used for forestry (See more here: https://www.stiftsor.dk/skovbrug) - and then of course we can all get some fantastic nature experiences in the beautiful wild nature .... :-)
The cache is NOT near the rails !!
Therefore, it is NOT NECESSARY TO GO UP on the bridge, rails or joints around the rails !!!
Always keep yourself and your safety first and the game as secondary !!
It is NOT allowed to drive a car (or equivalent) in the forest. The reason why no coordinate for parking space is specified is, that the cache can be accessed by countless forest roads. I will leave the parking challenge to you ;-)
