Geocache Description:

The above coordinates are false.

I was only 10 years old when I first spent the night alone in a haunted house, and I've been doing it ever since. I have quite a few stories to tell. Here is one of them.

Thirteen years ago, I worked at a hospital in Tucson. The department I worked for was a highly secured area with a locked door that buzzed whenever it was opened. Only a few staff members had keys to open that door. It was a Saturday night around 8 pm. A coworker and I were the only 2 people working. The work was steady and I turned around to find a patient watching me only a few feet away. The light was good and I saw him clearly. He turned and glided to my right then disappeared. There was no place for him to go or hide and no way he could have gotten inside to begin with. My coworker was busy with her work in a side room and did not see the ghost, however she told me it was George a resident ghost who has been seen repeatedly over the years.

Whether you do or don't believe in ghosts, your challenge is to locate a site with a documented haunting (word of mouth and flakey internet sites do not count). Post a photo or 2 of yourself with your GPS unit and a ghost (paper cutout is acceptable) along with a description of the haunting. Please post coordinates and credible source of doumentation, e-mail if it can't be posted. For example, if your source is a newspaper, please send the name of the paper, title of the article and date of publication. Usual LC rules apply - one find per geocacher, any location can only be logged once. My significant other and I need new places to visit. Happy hauntings!
