I was in the area on a different mission when I ran into another geocacher that advised me the old cache was in bad shape. Since I was on a different kind of search mission I did not have my regular stash of geocache containers with me. I rummaged through the backpack and was able to find enough parts and pieces to put a micro together. So this one is now a micro hidden nearby but not exactly at the old location. Word of advice if by land...If you want to avoid the mud and creek follow the creek to the south. It will run out there and you can walk along the edge of the main lake back to the north to the area of GZ. There are logs that cross the creek in places just know if you fall off you cannot avoid the mud.
The nearby creek to this cache in very narrow but very soft. Do not try to cross there. Good luck!
