Geocache Description:


Shazor is a moshav in northern of Isreal near Karmiel, and Sajur in the Beit Kerem valley. The settlement was established in 1953 as a Nahal settlement, which was nationalized in early 1954 by Moroccan immigrants and became a JNF working village.

Highway 85, an east-west highway in northern Israel. It's one of the most important roads in the Galilee, connecting the western side with eastern side. The road begins in Akko (Acre) on the west coast, and finishes at Amiad junction, north of the Kinnert lake. One of its junctions is Shazor, near Moshv Shazur.
