Welcome to Lower Crooked Lake. This 417 Acre Lake has a single boat ramp at the SW corner of the lake. There are a few houses and a seasonal Camp on the lake. The rest of the lake is bordered by Michigan State University Lux Arbor Reserve. This lake flows into Upper Crooked Lake via a small culvert to the north. This is a great Kayak & canoe Lake. It is primarily a fishing lake. Large Mouth Bass, Pan, Pike and Muskie can be caught on this fishing lake. If you choose to take this on in the winter be warned this lake has fickle ice and it will take longer than 2 hours. Be sure to bring a spud in the winter!
You are are looking for a Cap n Cap cache. This lake tour should take about 2 hours. When you visit, you will more than likely have the lake all to yourself. Note parking cost $7 for the day year round. It is enforced and the ticket is $100.00! Enjoy your two hour boat tour.
